Refunds

Effective 2026-04-21.

Short version: if we haven't started the work, you get your money back. If we have, you pay for what we did. If you accepted the deliverable, the sale is final. Details below.

Assessments and one-time engagements

Within 7 days of kickoff, before substantive work starts: full refund.

After work has started: pro-rata refund based on hours logged and deliverables produced. We will send you an itemized accounting.

After you accept the final deliverable: no refund. "Accept" means either (a) you sign off in writing, or (b) 10 business days pass after delivery without a written objection.

Example: you buy a Foundation assessment, we hold the kickoff call on Monday, you change your mind on Thursday. We refund in full minus any third-party costs already committed (rare).

Example: you buy a CTGA 360, we deliver the report four weeks later, you approve by email, then six weeks later ask for a refund. No refund. Work is complete and accepted.

Recurring retainers and subscriptions

Cancellation requires 30 days' written notice. Email [email protected] to cancel.

You are billed for the 30-day notice period. We continue to work during that period, so the month is not refunded.

Example: you're on a monthly retainer billed on the 1st. You email us on the 15th to cancel. We keep working through the 14th of the following month, bill that final month on schedule, and stop afterward.

Processing fees

Payment processing fees (the 3% card or 1% ACH surcharge) are non-refundable when a refund is issued on a card payment, because Stripe does not return these fees to us on refund. The underlying service amount is refunded in full per the rules above.

Disputes and chargebacks

If something is wrong with the work, tell us first. We will work with you to make it right. Chargebacks without prior contact may result in termination of the engagement and retention of fees for work already performed.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with the invoice number or order ID and a one-line reason. We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds reach your card or bank within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
