Sixty minutes door to door, end to end. Pick a city for what we score there.

How the work happens

How we actually work with you.

Four steps from the first conversation to the day you outgrow us. No mystery middle, no decks, no rebrand of the obvious.

Quick translation before the steps: the Helix Score is a credit score for how your business runs. One number from 100 to 900, built from four areas we call CTGA: Controls, Technology, Growth, and Adoption.

Three names, three different things. The Pulse is the free 60-minute call. CTGA is the method we score you against. The Helix Score is the number you walk out with.

  1. Free Helix Pulse

Sixty minutes, we see what you have.

  2. We map the gaps

We identify what to automate, replace, or rip out.

  3. We come in and build

Your internet, your stack, your automations. We do the work.

  4. We stay until you outscale us

Retainer until the work outgrows what we can carry alone.

Industries we know cold

The buyer profiles we know cold. One framework.

The CTGA framework scores any service business the same way. The industry just changes which gaps show up first.

  • Government Contracting

    Phase 2 roadmap
The five expensive habits

What is quietly costing you money this quarter.

Most service businesses have the same five leaks. We name them out loud, score them on the CTGA framework, then fix them in priority order.

Why we are different

Method. Map. Pulse.

Three things change when Helix Stax is in the room: how the work is scored, where the work happens, and how the first conversation costs you nothing.

  • Method

The CTGA framework scores every engagement across Controls, Technology, Growth, and Adoption. You see the number before you sign anything, and you watch it move every quarter the work is in.

  • Map

Hampton Roads operators get on-site assessments and a partner in the same time zone. Newport News, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Hampton, Suffolk. We work where you work.

  • Pulse

Sixty minutes, free, no upsell pitch. You walk out with your CTGA score and the three gaps the data says will cost you the most this quarter. If we are not the right fit, you keep the score.

Frameworks we score you against.

The CTGA Framework

A credit score for how your business runs.

The CTGA Framework scores your operations on Controls, Technology, Growth, and Adoption. One number from 100 to 900. You walk out of a free 60-minute Pulse with your top three gaps named and an estimated score.

Four pillars: two for your systems, two for your people.

Systems

Controls

The stuff that gets you fined: Compliance and risk

Pass the audit you don't see coming.

Compliance deadlines, vendor agreements, and the documentation that matters most on the worst day. Most businesses have the rules OR the enforcement, not both.

What we audit: policy ownership, audit-trail completeness, vendor-risk posture

Systems

Technology

The tools nobody uses right: Tools and systems

Stop paying for tools nobody uses.

Every tool, platform, and integration your business runs on. Most stacks we audit have software nobody opens anymore.

What we audit: license utilization, integration health, recovery readiness

People

Growth

The leads you're losing: Revenue and leads

Stop losing leads you already paid to get.

How customers find you, how leads convert, and how revenue scales. 62% of calls go unanswered. Leads contacted within 5 minutes convert at 100x the rate.

What we audit: lead-response time, pipeline hygiene, brand consistency

People

Adoption

The team that can't run without you: People and process

Your team adopts the tools, or we stop buying them.

Where the other three pillars succeed or fail. A tool nobody uses is a subscription fee. A process nobody follows is a document on a shelf.

What we audit: onboarding completion, usage analytics, change ownership

Questions

The things you're probably wondering.

CTGA stands for Controls, Technology, Growth, and Adoption: the four pillars of business operations. Each pillar is scored on two tracks: what your systems handle (Systems) and what your people handle (People). The gap between those tracks is what we measure and close. Think of it as a credit score for how well your business actually runs.

Your Helix Score is a single number from 100 to 900 that reflects your operational maturity across all four CTGA pillars. Like a credit score, you can track it over time, compare it to others in your industry, and explain it without a slide deck. Most small businesses score between 250-400 on their first assessment.

A free 60-minute conversation with our team. No intake form, no demo, no pitch deck. We cover your operations across all four CTGA pillars and you walk away with your top three gaps, an estimated Helix Score, and a plain-English summary of what's broken. You own the results. Take them to whoever you want.

The Helix Pulse takes one hour of your time. The full CTGA assessment takes about a week. We evaluate your systems, talk to the people who use them, and score both tracks across the four pillars. You get your Helix Score and your gaps, ranked by what they cost you, on Day 7.

The Helix Pulse is free. Always. For the full engagement (assessment through implementation), we work on a monthly retainer. Pricing depends on company size and scope, but our goal is to save you more than we cost within 90 days. We'll give you a clear number after the Pulse.

Yes. While we're based in Hampton Roads, VA, the CTGA assessment works for service businesses anywhere. Most of the initial work is remote. For implementation, we prefer to be hands-on with your team, but we've made it work across distances.

We're not here to replace them. We work alongside your IT person or MSP to close the gaps they don't cover. They keep your systems running. We figure out whether your people are actually using them. But if you don't have either? We don't mind wearing both hats until you do.

Most consultants hand you a report and leave. We stay. We implement the fixes, train your team, and measure whether it actually worked. Traditional consultants don't measure software adoption rates or the gap between your systems and your people. We do.
