Helix Stax is a founder-led IT consulting firm based in Hampton Roads, VA. We help service businesses fix the software, networks, and security they already pay for, then make sure their people actually use it. We are not a managed services provider and we do not bill you a flat fee to babysit servers. We come in, find what is broken, and leave you with systems that work.
The firm exists because of one number. We watched a mid-size organization burn $3.6M on software nobody used: three redundant platforms, roughly 20% adoption, and a team that had quietly gone back to spreadsheets. The tools were fine. The gap was between what got deployed and how people actually worked. That gap is the whole business now.

Four lines of work cover most of what a growing business needs from an IT partner: software and automation, networking, AI, and compliance. On the compliance side that means CMMC and NIST 800-171 readiness, which matters a lot if you sit in a defense supply chain. We also run CIO services for owners who need a technology leader in the room but not a six-figure salary on the books.

After that $3.6M project we needed a way to score the gap, not just describe it. So we built the CTGA Framework. It rates four things, then rolls them into a single Helix Score on a 100-900 scale, the same shape as a credit score, so the number means something to an owner and to a CFO.
Most IT scorecards stop at what the technology can do. CTGA adds what your people actually do with it, because a platform nobody opens scores zero on the metric that pays the bills. We run the assessment, hand you the number, then work the three highest-impact gaps until it moves.
